Since 15th of may we moved to a bigger and better place with a lot of open spaces. We have a garden and a patio with hammocks!
Come over and enjoy your stay in the center of Granada. Have a cold drink at our bar or stay in our Jungle space enjoying the sun and the breeze.
You can find different kind of rooms, from dorms, semiprivates and privates with or without TV and aire! Its just what you are looking for. Triples, families friends or couples we have various options for everybody.
A nice familiar atmospher makes the place a great place to relax after a day exploring Granada and surroundings.
We speak English, Dutch and Spanish!
We are 24 hours a day open, so don't worry if you come in late we will be happy to help you even in the middle of the night.
The property is a blue building at the outside, we have simple but very clean rooms with a table and a night lamp. All the rooms have ventilators and windows facing outside area.

The dorm room was constantly hot and the fans were very weak. The staff gave me the feeling they'd rather I not be there. I can't recommend this place.

I can not say enough good things about this hostel. Excellent would be my response to all of the previous questions. Many of the hostels make additional monies by promoting excursions and therefore are sometimes a little overbearing trying to make the sales, not true here at Hostel Mochilas. We actually did take an excursion at their recommendation sin the pressure to do so, and we had a great time.The staff are all excellent, and helpful. The accommodations are clean, secure, and well maintained. The prices for on-site refreshments, (beer, soda, water, and snacks) are reasonable. Laundry service is prompt and fair-priced. We had a private room/ shared bath with cable TV and air conditioning that is the best priced of all the eight places we stayed at in three countries in Central America.This is not a "Party Hostel" and it does not allow people from off the street to come in, which makes it a secure place to stay. We (I and some other guests) did stay up late one nite sharing traveling stories, listening to music, drinking a few beers and having a late nite snack. This is a great place to stay, what more can I say?
