Description
The area offers:
hunting, forest fruits picking, sailing, cycling, canoeing on the Brda river, and many more activities and attractions for people who appreciate peace and quiet, unpolluted air and water.
The farm is situated in the most beautiful region of the Tuchola National Park which is part of the largest forest area in Poland and in Central Europe. It is a subregion of Pojezierze Pomorskie (Pomorskie Lake District) within the Brda na Wda rivers basin. The area has been named "Poland's Green Lungs" as it occupies 52 000 ha, including a protected area, which makes 1.3 % of the country's total surface.
The region is home to rare animal species, which have been long extinct elsewhere: black stork, white eagle, crane, beaver, otter, kingfisher and many more. The flora is equally rich and unique here with such attractions as a Yew Reserve. About 250 lichen species have been recorded here which best prove the ultimate purity of the air. The area can also boast of 8 Nature Reserves. All this makes the climate unique and mild, saturated with ozone and oxygen.
