The Stayokay is part of the HI network for Holland. The location is fairly isolated and this is no party hostel. There are families and school groups here. However if you want a little bucolic charm and fresh air on your trip this is a great place to hang out for a couple of days. The building is very picturesque and the bar in the stables is popular with the locals and is busy. A good breakfast is also included although the cleaning of the dorm rooms and showers might have been a little more frequent. Access to Utrecht is easy on the bus or better still hire a bike from the hostel and in ten minutes you're in Utrecht which is a lovely city! There's no kitchen, so book the dinner in the morning or go to the only other local restaurant, as long as you like crepes! — English Andy (2006-08-25)
