Sucky Don't go to this hostel. They charged my credit card too much money and never gave me the money back. I sent them numerous emails and called them several times and they are not helpful at all. You should ban this place. There are some hotels for nearly the same price anyway!

A long walk but worth it. After a one-kilometer, uphill hike, we arrived to find the hostel closed because it was the middle of the day. (Be sure to check the reception hours if you stay here!) Once we got inside, the hostel room was clean and cozy with a great view well worth the one-kilometer hike. Basic breakfast, but decent. Key provided for front door to allow access when the reception is closed.

HI Hostel = clean, sterile, lots of school kids, few travelers.
This place has all of the above, however it is a great place to stay. No kitchen facilities, but you can purchase meals there, which are very good and very cheap. No bar, but there are quite a few down the bottom of the hill. The view is great. Vianden is a beautiful city in a beautiful country. We booked one night and stayed two.
