The Hostelz.com Review
Truely a gem of a hostel. Purpose built, and well done at that, you will want to stay for more than one night! Very spacious, from the comfortable lounge, with it's open fire, through to the welcoming dinning area, and modern kitchen (although only sporting a small number of cooking utensils).

The big rooms are the hostel's draw card, with the huge free lockers (supplied with key), ensuite shower and toilet, comfortable beds (free linen), and a layout that one usually finds in expensive hotels - beds downstairs, and a mezannine floor with 2 very private beds all with plugs and lights. A nice touch are the baths, handy after a walk to the nearby Giants Causeway, or your 20 metre walk from the bus stop, pub or small supermarket. It also has a cheap laundry and internet.

4 Very nice and clean! but expensive
this hostel was right off the bus stop, very big, modern, and clean. large common room, kitchen, and dining room. laundry and internet available. the place was pretty dead in july. quiet and we got a dorm to ourselves! the four-bed dorm was nice and roomy, with two of the beds in a loft and a toilet and shower inside the dorm. there was a bathroom out in the hall with a bath tub! that was awesome. my only complaint is that it was 17 pounds per person, pricey!

5 Absolutely loved this place. All the amenities are great, from the large dining room to the clean kitchen. Bedrooms are well laid out with large lock-able lockers in the room, beds (not bunks) with reading lights and en-suite bathrooms. The best thing about the hostel HAS to be the bathtubs — the extra bathrooms (there were two on my floor) had bathtubs, a real luxury. There's a grocery store across the street and the bus along the coast stops right out the front, making it easy to get to the attractions. Loved the hostel.

4 This place was a very nice hostel indeed. I stayed in July 2004 and was most impressed. The dorms are very big and spacious, with the beds laid out nicely. Big lockers are available, too. Security is good as well (all rooms are locked). The en suite showers and toilets are good, and there's even a bath (in a separate room) if you're keen! The kitchen is quite large and good, and the dining room is very big (but a little cold). The common room/lounge room is nice, with a TV and video for entertainment. The hostel is right in the middle of Bushmills town, not far from shops or the main attraction, the distillery. I strongly recommend a visit here while you're in town! The other main attraction of Bushmills is the coastline, and in particular, Giant's Causeway. The hostel is a nice 2 mile (about 3 km) walk from the causeway; get the friendly staff to tell you about the track through the country side to the coast. I was definitely impressed with this place, and would stay again if I ever return.

5 This is what I call the Ritz Carlton of the hostel world. The rooms were very spacious and clean, the staff was friendly, and it was located close to many of the Antrim Coast attractions.

4 Very nice place, well located. It would be best to check upon arrival that your reservation has been confirmed! We arrived there having booked through the Northern Ireland Tourist Board in Dublin and they had no record of our booking. Fortunately there was just one room left and they gave it to us. Fair play to them, they only made us pay the fee we were annonced at the Tourist Board.
