3  Great views but in need of a revamp Butterfli Lodge had all the amenities needed for a decent stay in Queenstown. It is however looking quite shabby in some areas -- our nearest bathroom was in need of an overhaul and had loads of orange mould over the tiles and back of the door. Our bedroom windows were so encrusted with fluffy mould I was worried about the effect on my health (breathing all the spores). The kitchen in our building had a cooker which didn't work and no water from one of the taps. Saying this, it was a lovely spot and beautifully quiet. My bed was warm and comfy and the wireless internet a bonus. I will try somewhere else on my next trip to Queenstown, but won't be too miffed if I end up here again (unless of course the mould is worse!).  , New Zealand (previously UK!) ()
5  You can't go wrong! As previously said very professional and friendly. For the price I have got nothing at all to complain about, you can't go wrong. Showers are absolutely bliss, you'll find out! I took the double bedroom which has double doors that opens out to an amazing view and the joinery is made from recycled native timber. They were also kind enough not to charge for my friend who who at the last minute canceled his trip, they had no notice.  , New Zealand ()
3  This hostel had great views however I found it to be quite tatty with threadbare carpets and the bathrooms weren't that clean. The lock on one of the bathroom doors was also dodgy. The dorm room in the basement had no windows and 1 inadequate light, 4 beds, 1 small heater, and nothing else, not very nice. The reception has limited opening hours although the manager was helpful.  , Belfast ()
5  A lovely hostel, ably run by Gemma, the manager who is very friendly and professional. It's clean and cosy with wonderful views. I would definitely recommend it.  ()
4  I forgot to say in my comment that the bears I saw in the woods were fake. So don't worry, they were dummies for a German TV show I saw on national television lately.  ()
3  This place has great bikes, and a lovely breakfast; I like the cornflakes!!! But I lost my wife in the woods. :( Greetings from Italy.  ()
