This place is a dump and management is not to be trusted. They will charge more than the posted rate. They were not useful in making climbing arrangements. There is a much better new motel nearby.

I find this hostel to be very important because Gurue has good natural attractions — Mount Namuli, tea plantations, etc. Apart from that, it is situated in the central province of Zambezia, which makes it easier to get around to the rest of Mozambique. This central region of Mozambique should have an international airport and good roads.
