Great! Also my first time in a hostel, and it was excellent! I did a shared room, on a weekday, for around $9USD. The bedroom and common areas are very clean. The men's shower might be considered iffy, but it worked out ok, and I'm sure it was clean for a hostel -- there was definitely hot water when I wanted it! Location is also great -- I don't think there's a closer hostel to the downtown "action" (if you could call San Miguel "active"), but it's definitely not too close. And purified water is included, for refilling water bottles or cooking with!
