This is the most awful hostel I have every encountered. I said I would be arriving at 3 p.m. (which I did) and by 6 p.m. the door was still locked and I was stood out in the rain in a strange city all by myself. This is unforgivable and as far as I'm concerned this hostel is run by thieves -- how dare they take my three-night deposit if they aren't even open! Diabolical.

I stayed in the "dormitorio" in August 2004 for ten days and I enjoyed the place a lot. First I met really nice people from everywhere. And people at the reception were very sympathetic.
Second, it is well located, as it is close to the Metro station so you can go very easily in the city center or to the bus stations. There are a lot of places to have cheap and tasty meals and drinks very close to the hostel, in the Zona Rosa, which is a great place. And finally there is an Internet café next door. I recommend this place!

This is an excellent hostel. I had lots of fun and it's close to everything — the museums, Zona Rosa. The staff is just amazing. They treated me like a son. I recommend this place 100 percent. HAVE FUN, don't miss it.

I had a great time at the hostel. It has a good location. Zona Rosa is like the tourist area in the city. The personnel were professional and friendly. They helped me and I had a wake-up call everyday on time all the time.

I just stayed at this hostel (January 2005). They do have TV, their front desk staff person was nice and helpful, it's in a great location, and it's open 24 hours (the door is closed, but they do open at any time). There's a great atmosphere on their terrace. I recommend this place. It was the best hostel I found in Mexico City. It's clean and safe.

I stayed once in this place. It was horrible, uncomfortable, dirty, noisy and the receptionists are incompetent. I couldn't enjoy staying here. The front door is always closed early, and in the morning they open really late. It is not a good place to stay. They don't have good coffee, or TV, or security. They are not friendly.

I stayed at this hostel and was quite disappointed. I had selected it because the website indicated that it did airport pickups. No such luck! At 11:30 p.m. I was left to find my way from the airport because of the receptionist's incompetence. The male staff tried to be friendly, but generally they seemed unprofessional, as though they weren't too sure about what they were supposed to be doing at the front desk. It's centrally located, and if you don't mind poor lighting, or aren't looking forward to a particularly well put-together breakfast, this may just be fine. It seemed to be well-suited, with its remarkably low cost and spacious dorms, for males or people traveling in pairs. Since I traveled alone, I found the solitary atmosphere, coupled with poor hallway and steps lighting, a bit intimidating and unwelcoming. I'd say it's generally good for male backpackers!
