Description
Hostel Ahopää is part of Fell Centre Kiilopää, which is located beautifully between two fells and just beside the national park of Urho Kekkonen 16 km south of Saariselkä holiday resort. Skiing routes and in summer hiking trails start right from the courtyard. Fell Centre Kiilopää provides nature experiences in a safe environment, cosy accommodation and tasty meals. From the beginning of January until the end of April, in September and during Christmas time, guided daytrips and evening programmes are organized for the guests of Fell Centre.
At hostel Ahopää there are 36 bed places in rooms for 2-6 persons. The rooms have bunk beds, table and chairs. Shared toilets and clothes drying cabinets are located in the corridor. The Ahopää building has a small kitchen (crockery, microwave oven, two electric hob rings, two fridges) shared by the Ahopää residents. Price includes linen+towels, breakfast and evening sauna in the main building.
