The best backpackers lodge in Kota Kinabalu!
I stayed there for one month and found it really great. I was stunning by the amiable staff (and yes, the owner-Alex- is really a good gentleman). I even got discount rate for my long-stayed period! Outstanding services and location - at the heart of Kota Kinabalu and just a walking distance to any of the main tourist attractions. I went to KK alone, but the truth is I never felt alone during the trip for the fact that I've made a lot of friends, both locals and foreigners, on my staying there. Great place to stay, chill, and make new friends!

So affordable for travelers. It has a strategic location, also suitable for a big family (like mine!), cool staff, and it's great in its class. Highly recommended!

Great place as a base for the rest of Saah. I wondered why it was not listed in the latest issue of Lonely Planet. It has lots of travel information. Be sure to check out the Sipadan diving rates when you're here.
