Friendly staff, beautiful secluded location, roomy/comfortable rooms I stayed at this hostel for a week as part of a thirteen-person mission team. We stayed for a week in August 2009 and we absolutely loved it. We found the staff to be friendly and very accommodating. The rooms and beds were comfortable and thank goodness for the air conditioning. We found everything to be clean and well cared for. The chef, Bill, is very good. The food was delicious and delightfully seasoned. They even accommodated our requests for specific Jamaican food and a cake for a birthday celebration. The beach was beautiful and there was a nice little point of land from which we viewed many beautiful sunrises and "moonscapes." The pool was clean and the teenagers with us enjoyed it immensely. I cannot say enough about how the staff was attentive to anything we needed. I would highly recommend a stay at this hostel. You will not be disappointed. — Shelley , U.S.A. (2009-08-31)

I visited this hostel a couple of years ago. It is nice and private and a little secluded. It's great for a family with a car on tour of the North Coast. I would like to visit again, maybe with a small group. I like the fact that guests can do their own cooking. Laundry I am not sure about. I do not remember seeing any washing machines. The Super Clubs are close by, so I could always visit them. The price is reasonable. The grounds were well kept. I think Priory Gardens is one of the North Coast's best-kept secrets. I want to visit again, only this time I want to stay for more than two days. — cessman1@yahoo.com (2004-11-03)
