Right on the beach, spacious rooms, clean toilets. They have their own bar as well which offers cheap and tasty dinner, a free caipirinha on arrival and general good vibes. The staff are really friendly and willing to help you in any way they can.

Great meals offered each night for a reasonable price (10-15 BRL), excellent breakfast each morning which includes ham,cheese, spreads, bread, fruits, juice, coffee etc and best of all there is a toastie maker!!!
Location across from the beach is great for sitting by the beach in one of the many kiosks and downing a few beers or caipirinhas.
Staff are all very friendly and helpful, although are often too busy chatting amongst each other to notice that someone is there waiting to ask a question.

The staff was really nice and the food was good! The tours on offer are worth their money (especially the boat trip) and you are quite close to the city centre. Every Saturday there is a beach party with the El Misti hostel, which is right beside the Geko.

It was a great place to meet new people, lively and fun. Location was great. I really enjoyed the boat trip and also the Jeep Ride to the waterfalls. You should do this if you go there!! Highlight of my stay. Also this hostel is right next to the beach, cross a road and there is a beach. For better beaches its a small bus ride away.
