it is a clean, secure, and comfortable place. Not noisy, rather calm place, so you can offer a sound sleep to your completely exhausted body.Location is really good; it is in the Riverrain. This is a best place for someone who wants a private and calm place to take a rest.

It's not a hostel, it's a hotel. They have just turned some regular rooms into very small dorm rooms. I had a single room which also was very small. The common room also used to be a regular room. Very small. No fully equipped kitchen to cook your own meal (there is a fridge, oven and microwave). If you like the '60's you'll like the interior.Staff is friendly though.Haven't seen any other guests.... no one..

This place is not a hostel, but a hotel. It has nothing to offer as a hostel to backpackers.

The hostel had an excellent location. It was inside the arcade\market right on the river. There are tons of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. The price was pretty good as well. The place costs about 2/3 of the price of a cheap hotel with the same size and ammenities. I will definitely be returning if I stay in Fukuoka again.

Certainly the hostel was fine for the night. There wasn't too much happening there, and I would have appreciated it if there was somewhere to talk later than 11 pm.

Good location, near the train station and city centre. All reception staff I met spoke excellent English but the internet was painfully slow.

We liked our stay because although our room was tight, we had a nice view overlooking the river. The hotel was close to Canal City - a big shopping mall, and had a grocery store and other malls close by. Some of the staff spoke barely any english, the TV had only Japanese channels and the internet was ridiculously slow.. not even worth using. But either than that everyone was very nice to us and it was really clean.
