Designed with modern trendy philosophy base on Anhui style construction which famous of the extraordinary balcony and horse head shape wall, visual contrast design and harmony of color apply to the inner decoration. 26 luxury, standard, economy, bunk bed room, totally 60 beds, free Internet access available in each room. 260 square meter colorful public area, facilitated with glass roof teahouse, chatting room, outdoor leisure bar and a small art exhibition center, photo studio, painting studio, table tennis room.
There is a bar on the ground floor, comfortable environment surrounding by classic music. Equipped with high quality projector, support movie playing, photo processing, and wireless LAN available within the Bar. 90 square meter wild, provided meal and kitchen equipment. The front desk girls who strive to be patient and helpful, most of all.
The room has good AC, excellent bed linens, so-so towels, plenty of hot water. It was fairly quiet in spite of being next to the stairs.
There is a washing area patio with a washing machine for free. One just pays a bit for detergent. Hangers available for drying out there. Location in Tunxi is perfect, one block from Lao Jie and there is a dumpling place next door..

This is a great hostel in a fantastic location in the heart of the Ancient Town, where many great little restaurants and shops are situated.
The staff were just amazing, all the girls were extremely helpful and friendly, excellent travel hints and tips and great service. Joe the manager was a great host too and certainly knows how to treat guests.
Oh and check out the resident puppy...you won't be dissapointed :-)

the fit out was very new and looked great. majority of the staff were great. really nice bar attached but they never delivered on the breakfast that they advertised. the only thing that really let them down was the scarcity of the bathrooms, one per floor, and they were NEVER cleaned once during our 4 night stay.
