Description
Our hostel is in a three-story house with five bathrooms, a generous lounge area with a fireplace, a small garden and a wonderful view of the sea. We have free internet, cable TV and DVDs, a stereo and a 24-hour kitchen; we also offer babysitting services and airport transfer. You can also avail of the neighbourhood tennis court and swimming pool for a small fee.
The Blue Buddha Hostel is within easy walking distance to the centre of the village, shopping, surf spots and great beaches, including the famous surf spot Ribeira D’Ilhas. Want to go surfing? There’s surf rental and surf lessons available, too!

It is a great house pretty much on the water. Its a bit of a walk to Ribeira d'Ilhas but close enough. The boards for rent were good and of different sizes/shapes. Miguel and Lucia even took us out to a great restaurant one night. We had a great time! If I'm ever back in Portugal, I will definitely stay at Blue Buddha again!

Very cool place and SUPER cool staff, so friendly and helpful! I definetly wanna go back there. Needed lockers for valuables though - not that anything happened, would just have been nice, and more cleaning on the bathroom floors. But can definetly recommend the place :D

This place is very nice!! It isn't like an ordinary hostel... it is a beautiful house that looks directly at the ocean. The beach is minutes away and the bus station and grocery store are also extremely close!
