Not worth the money The following things are what were wrong with the hotel. not mentioning in your website that you are required to use a tup tup to get to your room, going up and down, and that the tup tups stop at 10 p.m, forcing you (elderly people, especially) to have to walk up an extreme steep hill. the television DID NOT work; and it's not satellite as you promised.there was NO reading lamp, 5 days without being able to read in my room is criminal. old, florescent lighting, making the room look more like a cafeteria. kitchen than a warm, relaxing bedroom, where you can and should be able to relax. the shower has two heads, one for cold and one for hot water -- very primitive and NOT what I expect paying what I did. a large hole in the bathroom (no cover) where rats or any other type of rodent could visit you in the middle of the night. the staff, when available, did not speak English communicatively, making it impossible to ask for anything. returning to the hotel at 11 p.m, found that everything was shutdown and NO ONE to open for us to get our key. When we finally managed to get the attendant, who spoke NO English and offered NO apology, he was angry at us for waking him up. Imagine we are tourists on holiday but are required to return early to bed, after all the money paid!!! we asked for twin beds and got a 100-year-old low spring with a 3-inch mattress on it, called a bed. I have found better and more comfortable beds staying in one-star hotels. the morning we go for breakfast and find that after sitting 30 minutes (while all others were served) we were told that they forgot our breakfast. NO apologies!! I informed them the morning of the second day that my friend Mr. Canady would not arrive and that they COULD give out the room. I told them that my friend accepted the loss of the money and that they should go ahead and make the money on the room. NO THANKS. They got paid twice for his room, but NO thanks to me for informing them of that possibility. Nice!! — M. Manzella , U.S (2010-01-14)
