Decent Hostel and Guesthouse This is a guesthouse and hostel combined in a very charming wooden house overlooking the village of Leysin -- it's quite a walk uphill from the village. The dorms are a little small and cramped but the beds are very comfy. The doors are never locked but Switzerland is very safe so this is not a problem. However, lockers would be a nice addition for security of valuables. If you're here for skiing, the lifts are only 5 minutes walk away. The whole place is very clean. It's cheap, for Switzerland that is -- this is an expensive country. There's an extra charge for using the internet. The breakfast consists of bread, butter, jam, tea & coffee for an extra 8 francs which is simply not worth it -- prepare your own in the kitchen. This is probably the best deal in what is quite an expensive town. Overall, I would recommend it. — Martin , UK (2010-04-27)
