We have 4 rooms: One double bed private, a 6 bed female dorm, an 8 bed mixed dorm and one more 6 bed mixed dorm, all spacious and well ventilated.
We also have a TV room, external area for smokers and verandas for you to relax in a good hammock.
Here you will find a cosy and friendly atmosphere in a residential area. And to find and enjoy all the marvels that Lagoa da Conceição offers (bars, cafés, restaurants, handcraft and local culture) it only takes you 5 minutes on foot.
To enjoy the most famous and beautiful beaches of the Magic Island (Mole, Joaquina and Barra da Lagoa beaches) you just have to walk for 30 minutes or on bus it will take you only 10 minutes.

Location	•For the directions from the airport please check in the Location part. • • From the bus station: By taxi: You will spend from 30 to 40 reais. It’s worth it, because any taxi driver will leave you right in front of Casa Brasil Hostel. By bus: When you arrive at the local Bus Station, walk straight ahead to the exit doors, turn right and walk about five minutes to the south bus terminal (passing the parking lot). The bus to Lagoa da Conceicao leaves from the second last stop at the end of the middle platform, platform B, take bus number 330 or 320 to the Lagoa da Conceicao terminal (last stop). In the terminal change bus to number 360 towards Barra da Lagoa, get off at bus stop number 2, Chico Supermercado is on your right. When you get off the bus turn so that it is on your left and a pharmacy is ahead of you, walk to the corner of the pharmacy and turn right on to Joao Antonio Da Silveira take you first right and then first left and we are 200 meters on the left. Lagoa´s Bus Terminal (on foot): Once you leave the bus terminal, turn left and then you’re first to your right. Walk until the end of the street and turn left, passing “Pão Italiano”. Walk until you get to Texaco gas station, turn left and keep walking until you get to Panvel drugstore turn left, then right and finally left again. There you are, on Casa Brasil Hostel´s Street we are 200 meters on the left.

This was by far the greatest hostel we have stayed in and i dont think we will find anything to match it. A beutiful quiet, clean and cheap hostel, we felt like we were staying at a friends house more than a hostel. It is in the niceset area of Florianopolis... close to shops, bars, beaches... everything you need. Tamara behind the desk during the day was very helpful and kind and Marina of an evening will mix you a up a mean caprihina... she was also a fabulous tour guide, portugese teacher and friend! Great breakfast with real coffee and amazing fresh fruit. Very clean toilets and facilities and very comfortable bedding. I really enjoyed the stay in casa brazil. This hostel has just opened and is managed by one family. this explains the friendly and relaxed atmospheare. I loved the green yard outside with the hamocks, the homemade bred, corn and cakes we got and the patience answering all my question on what to do, bus schedules...
