Hosanna is a 100 acre farm and bush land at the edge of the village of Stokers Siding. It has a large swimming lake with a wood fired sauna, 3 metre diving board and jetty, a large swimming area and a large pontoon, as well as several kayaks.
There are also two creeks running through Hosanna property. There are excellent bush walking opportunities including a 500 metre glowworm tunnel. Hosanna's intent is to create community through common activities and meals. There are excellent cooking facilities on site.
We are also a working farm with our own vegetable garden, chickens and eggs, and beef cattle. Also we have an on-site food store and a large, walk in cold room. Within 30 minutes of Hosanna: Mt. Warning and the numerous National Parks of the Mount Warning Shield Volcano; Gold Coast; Byron Bay; many villages and local markets; regional art gallery; the Tweed River Waterways; and all beaches from Coolangatta to Byron Bay. Separate campsite with amenities block; volleyball court; Katapult (medieval battle game), played each 1st Sunday of the month in conjunction with a community lunch; and Amazing Race, a multilevel challenge race for groups; and a base camp for expeditions--all expedition expertise and equipment available on site.
