The Ostello del Plebicito is the coolest place for your organic Sicilian experience.
It is situated in the hearth of the town, not far from the best points of interest. Along Via Vittorio Emanuele are Churches, ancient buildings, the Roman Theatre with its Museum, the houses of Vincenzo Bellini and Giovanni Verga, and the Dome. But also the Baroque Via dei Crociferi, the medieval Ursino Castle, the ancient University (founded in 1434) and the Theatre "V.Bellini" are not far.
It includes 34 bedsits divided in cosy rooms (6/10 beds per room) styled furnished with handmade wood furniture, the comfort of central heating and air conditioning, every room big and full of natural light include personal storages.
Our goal is to give you a full experience of history and modern comfort.
The hostel includes a big common area to enjoy with the local community and the international guests.

-The lunch room has 50 seats and you will be delighted by the traditional homemade cuisine.
-Two fixed Internet desktop for your connection and free Wi-Fi for your personal laptop.

See above. And also the possibility to buy drinks at a very low price.
For example the biological (!) red wine.
Special thanks to Marcello, who was so kind to suggest an evening trip at a reduced price to the Etna - which was quite spectacular because of little eruptions that very evening.

The atmosphere was great. Staff outstanding. Very helpful and got me in touch with a fantastic tour up Mt Etna. Met a couple of interesting people. Slow time as far as travelers but enjoyed the stay. Not to crazy about not locking the rooms ever but it worked out. Would definitly stay there again and recommend it.
