Friendly helpfull staff, very familiar atmosphere!!! The staff helps you with any problem and question at any time, and you can have long interesting discussions if you run into somebody.

Our private double room was very basic with 2 single beds pushed together and no other furniture. The room faced directly out to the common area and only a thin white lace for a curtain so absolutely no privacy as anyone could see into the room, and its hard to relax when there's a bunch of people hanging out right where you are trying to relax or sleep.Good security and nice staff. An ok place to stay for a night or two but not somewhere to relax and chill out.

The staff was PERFECT. The rooms themselves had NO character or even places to hang your towel. And the rooftop terrace where I hoped to spend New Year's eve partying with fellow travellers was not open since the owner was on vacation. The whole city shut down for both days we were there so there was very little to do. The staff did what they could, but that wasn't much.

The hostel was very nice and clean, our room was great. We loved the roof top patio and the dog.The staff was very nice and helpful. Loved the Hostel, but palermo was not our favorite area of town, a little to boutiquey and expensive.
