Terrylin Backpackers is located conveniently close to O.R Tambo International Airport. It's an ideal spot to stay when arriving or departing the city as there are no worries about traffic jams or missing your flight.

The backpackers is situated in a neighbourhood close to the international airport. Using the directions it is easy to find and has enough secure parking for your car. The hostel also offer transport to and from the airport.
Rooms and Bathrooms
Terrylin has good facilities that include same sex and coed dorms, double room, double en-suite rooms, and camping. The rooms are neat and tidy and the double room even has its own TV. The dorms have about six beds per room. The bathrooms are the cleanest ever! There are nice hot water showers and even a bathtub to soak if you fancy.
Common Spaces
A nice fireplace in the lounge for cold winter nights and satellite TV. The dining area is small and so is the communal kitchen. They offer free continental breakfast. There are washing machines, a pool table, and a large swimming pool set in a spacious garden. They also have internet facilities.

My brother and I stayed at Terrylin during the world cup 2010 and Joy and Steven took wonderful care of us. The neighborhood is a bit sparse, but it is very near a major highway, so access to the city center isn't difficult. Also I believe there is a train station very near by. But location aside, the hostel itself was a nice, friendly place to stay. Very clean and even hot water in the shower! We recommend it.

A Real Bargain I arrived at Terrylin Backpackers at midnight, as the other place i booked into did not answer. The owner was very kind and accommodating. After a very comfortable sleep in the dorm bed -- clean and made-up, I had breakfast, which offers more than any other hostel I have been to ; Choice of cereals, brown and white bread, lots of jams, yoghurt, two juices and fruit. I booked for another night and swam while my washing was done. I appreciated the extras -- satellite TV, Free parking and the Wi-Fi, which is free for an hour, which is all that i needed.
An afternoon tour was also organised for me. I found terrylin to be very homey, clean and secure. It is also quiet, which I needed after traveling for more than 14 hours. Although I had an afternoon flight, I understood the 10am check-out time, as the owner would like to clean the place for the new guests. For less than 18 US Dollars, or less than 12 Pounds, I would really recommend Terrylin Backpackers! — Anonymous , SA (2012-01-09)
