Dear potential guest: This property is not an elevator building, it contains only 2 apartments, one dorm style with 5 Bunk Beds (10 beds total, only 8 beds available 2 beds are always empty) & the other apartment is a 2 private bedroom unit. Unlike many Hostels that are located in Brooklyn, Queens or in some desolate area, far from the "FUN and CLUBBING" areas may provide nicer accommodations, but as the pictures depict, this Hostel features a NEWLY CONSTRUCTED DORM STYLE HOSTEL, and a RECENTLY RENOVATED 2 private bedroom apartment with a shared living room, kitchen and bathroom. If you go on vacation or visit New York just so that you can stay in your room, then there are "NICER" units available elsewhere, but if your intentions are to visit and "HIT" all the "HOT SPOTS" located within 1 to 5 blocks away, then this Hostel should be your destination.

The Dorm Style Apartments are situated in a 5 story walk-up building located on Allen Street, between Delancey and Broome Streets. This area is extremely desirable and sought after by young New Yorkers. The party scene and atmosphere is never-ending. Students, young adults and young professionals "HANG-OUT" and congregate in and in front of hip and trendy bars and restaurants that are the hallmark of this area frequented by young adults. This neighborhood is considered very safe.

Television - Flat panel, high definition 22 inch set in every room with 200 channels direct TV, 3HD 22 Inch panel TV's in the shared dorm.
Free Laundry Service - Ask Antonio, the Housekeeper to wash and fold your washable items, please tip him accordingly.
24/7 Concierge service only, Antonio is available at 97 Allen street to meet you and greet you from 10AM to 10PM.
Car Parking – metered parking is available right in front of the building, Free street parking is available on residential streets one block to the west. Parking garage is available 1 1/2 block away on Allen Street between Grand and Hester Streets.
Bicycle for hire (at a charge)
You can call from Allen Street for free using the telephones installed in the Dorm Installation of the free phones are expected in early October 2008.
Linen and towels included (deposit may be required in order to insure prompt return of items)
Luggage Storage (free for 1 day storage) only at 139 Fulton Street
Children NOT allowed Adults only.
Telephone and fax services at lobby only - free faxes and free telephones will be in the rooms by mid to late October 2008.
Currency Exchange facility - check for hours of operation. They are located at 139 Fulton Street on the Nassau Street side. Many banks are located within a block or two from Allen Street.
No Curfew - but please keep in mind that other guests may be resting or sleeping.
Elevators There are no elevators in this building but the apartment is only 2-3 flights up.
Pets not allowed – other guests may be allergic to pets.
Smoking outside only, never in hostel building
WI-F in the shared Hostel room, nevertheless expect Wii units to be installed soon.
Hardwired Internet / wireless Internet are fully operational in both units.
Individually air-conditioned units under the control of Hostel guests
Guest Kitchen – Available to all guests. Microwave, toaster, coffee maker are available to all hostel guests.
Microwave - microwave and frost free refrigerator are in the kitchen.
Refrigerator - microwave and frost free refrigerator in your room.
Building lounge - no building lounge currently available, but look for it in the near future.
Bike parking – only at 139 Fulton Street make arrangements with the doorman to store it for you. We are trying to add bike storage at Allen St. but it is not currently available
Wheelchair access - This is a walk up building, no wheel chair access.
Security lockers – deposit required for prompt key return.
Many subway lines are available within a 2 – 3 block walk. The M-15 bus stops within 1 block on Allen Street and it will take you North in the direction of Times Square and the U.N. and other points of interest North and South.
We also intend very soon to provide broadband Internet access throughout the entire building. Hostel guests have access to enter the premises at all hours.
We are several blocks away from a gym, health spa, swimming pool, bars and night clubs as well as numerous restaurants are available within easy walking distance, they offer a variety of endless cuisine from Chinese, Japanese, kosher, American, Greek, Italian, French and many more! This hostel is affiliated with the MacDougal Street Synagogue and Beth Midrash in its never ending quest and effort to provide housing to everyone.

Important Information:
All bookings must be done through Hostelz.com. We do not book over the telephone and we do not accept walk in guests. You should retain a copy of your Hostelz.com confirmation booking receipt. If you arrive on Monday – Saturday, at 11 AM to 8 PM, at 139 Fulton Street in order to register because you choose to pay cash instead of credit card, then we will provide FREE transportation for the 20 blocks to reach 97 Allen Street, on other days and hours, you can flag down a taxi; the approximate cost is seven dollars $7.00
Cancellations or changes must be notified to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance via phone or email. In case of a 'NO SHOW,' one night will be charged. GUESTS CAN BOOK FOR A MAXIMUM STAY OF 21 DAYS. WE CAN NOT ACCEPT BOOKINGS FOR A LONGER PERIOD AT THIS HOSTEL. IF YOU REQUIRE A LONGER STAY, THEN BOOK 21 DAYS WITH US AND THE REST OF YOUR STAY WITH ANOTHER HOSTEL.

Our prices do not include tax. New York City Taxes are 13.50%. Taxes will be added to your bill when you arrive.
