Old Town Hostel Gdansk Reviews on Other Websites
5 staff very helpful. big thank you to marcin & his dad who took me to the euro stadium & gave me a brief lesson of gdansk history.   — paul mellor (2011-11-30) Hostelbookers
5 Very friendly and helpful staff. Free breakfast, linen, towel, internet. Short walking distance to phantastic old town of Gdansk, makes it a pleasant destination for every time of the year. Great value for westeners as Zloty exchange makes food shopping, dining and culture attractions inexpensive, while electronic purchases and the like have already reached western price level.   — Meinrad Eckert (2011-11-13) Hostelbookers
5 A perfect hostel to stay in Gdańsk without doubts! The location is not exactly on the main street of Main Town but you take 10min walking to it and 8min by tram to Gdańsk Główny train station, so it couldn't be more useful! All the things there are very good and the breakfast is awesome! Totally recommend :)   — Jorge Paulos (2011-10-30) Hostelbookers
5 Really clean, great facilities, Short walk to town, and friendly staff.   — Katherine Bourke (2011-09-08) Hostelbookers

4 Very clean, good location   — Alexander Willson (2011-08-03) Hostelbookers
Very nice surprise. This hostel is better than average hotels. The receptionist even offered to carry our luggage. Our family had a nice four-person-room with a spacious private shower room. The garbage was taken out every day. The room and whole hostel was personally decorated. Our room had wall papers like candy papers supplemented by a couple of pictures of Marilyn Monroe. The pass code for Wi-Fi was already printed on the door, so you don't need to ask for it. Furthermore there was a free computer downstairs. My stepdaughter fell so deeply in love with this hostel and especially the chocolate spread she could use during self service breakfasts that she rated our stay in Gdansk Old Town Hostel above all the country side hotels we stayed in on our vacation. By the way, the hostel could purchase some chairs. The clapperboard chairs don't take too much space even in a narrow room like ours. And sometimes it's nice to sit somewhere. We happen to have some hiking stools with us, though..   — tuulikki, Finland (2011-07-15) Hostelsclub
3 the staff was friendly   — Customer review (2011-06-30) Hostelbookers
5 The staff at this hostel is really great. Adam especially was very helpful, recommending places to go and helping with travel plans outside of Gdansk. Also, they do laundry and the breakfast is pretty good. Beds are pretty comfortable too.   — Customer review (2011-06-26) Hostelbookers

5 it was a good hostel   — Customer review (2011-06-05) Hostelbookers
5 near the city centre, very helpful staff and extra facilities like a blow-dryer and iron available for free, the best breakfast I ever had in a hostel: boiled eggs, tomatoes and cucumbers, two kinds of meat and cheese, two kinds of cereal, milk, jams, honey, cream-cheese, in one word top-notch, very safe and everything was new and clean, lockers in dorms. I cant say enough nice things about this hostel:)   — kamila sikorska (2011-05-21) Hostelbookers
5 Clear spacious rooms, new furnitures new wall-to-wall carpet, clear shower, price including the rich breakfast. Absolutely best value for money!   — Peter Hajdu (2011-04-24) Hostelbookers
5 It was only 5 minutes walk from the old town   — Customer review (2011-04-10) Hostelbookers
5 staff, beer, place ,breakfast, locker in the dorm, clean, pretty big shower room....love it!   — Customer review (2011-03-12) Hostelbookers
5 really, really friendly and helpful staff, just awesome breakfast!!!   — daniel meyer (2011-02-08) Hostelbookers
5 One of my new favourites outside Warsaw. Clean and cheap, very helpful staff, very good beds, good bathrooms. Location could be better-you have to take public transport to get there from main rail station which is always a nuissance. It's very well explained in the notes though so I'm not holding it against them. One thing they need to improve on is wifi signal in the dorms. It was nearly impossible to get a stable connection. Other than that a great place to visit.   — Customer review (2011-01-31) Hostelbookers
