Description
Duty-Free Island under Malaysian rule. This hostel is located directly across the street from the ferry terminal. This terminal is the only one on the island and ferry boats come from the south, Brunei, and from the north, KK (Kota Kinabalu), Speed boats also access this ferry terminal from Menmunbok and Sipitang.
The most central location you can ask for as a budget traveler with many food stalls, duty-free shops, restaurants, and mini-markets within a stones throw away! As a traveler, you cannot ask for anything more.
Shared toilets and hot showers, kitchen area with plenty of pans, dishes, utensils microwave oven, and even a blender for fruit smoothies to make yourself! The staff is rmore than friendly and willing to help with anything. Breakfast is included and comes along with coffe, tea, and fresh water. Refrigerator and freezer are also available along with washing machine(RM5/load).
Free internet(Wi-Fi and desktop), printer(RM1/page). Satellite T.V. and DVD player in the lounge. Lounge is open and spacious for talk with other travelers and backpackers about their experiences and travels around the world! Travel brochures and information from the staff is also available. If all else fails, the information site is about 3 minutes walk away!

Walk past the main sitting area on the right hand side and the 1st door you come to is the entrance to the hostel. Walk up the steps to a very welcoming lounge and simply ring the bell (found on the counter of the eating area). This hostel is literally 1 minute from the ferry terminal-no taxi needed! |

Great place/cheapest accommodation on the island/great staff! you really can't ask for anything better unless you require luxury. kitchen, hot showers, across the street from the ferry! food and duty free all around! if you like to drink, well labuan and langkawi islands are where you do it cheaply in the country of malaysia! not much else to say -- just trust me, it's worth it! — tom , philipines (2008-09-26)
