Description

Close to the French border & Ypres, it is the perfect location to visit the cemetries,battle fields, museums & memorials from WW1. Kortrijk has a nice city centre & is the shopping centre for the area. With it's university it is also a lively city during the academic year. Also very popular with cyclists as the "Vlaamse Ardennen" and "het Heuvelland" are not far away. The area where all Flemish classical races take place. Please note : hostel is only open till 11pm

Superb Johann and his wife were accommodating, friendly, and easy to talk to. The hostel is extremely clean, the food is absolutely excellent, and the facilities are to the highest standard. Our school, South Huron District High School, found this hostel the most accommodating site. Johann and his wife, Christine, were the most gracious managers we met on our battlefields tour of Europe.
