Loudis is very helpful and has excellent english. She happily made onward casa bookings for us and we also left a bag with her. It was a great place to stay as we were first time visitors to Cuba.

The location is perfect, at one end of the street is Vieja and the other is Centro. Lourdes and her family are incredibly friendly and welcoming, she speaks good English and has lots of advice on where to go and can arrange everything for you. Her home is beautiful with tall ceilings and a breeze flowing throughout which makes a nice escape from the heat. We ended up staying an extra 2 nights because we loved it there. Havana is an amasing city!

I recommend this place because it has a special location. It's so close to the most important point to visit: La Habana Vieja, Casco Histórico, Capitolio, Museums, restaurants, bars, etc. The owner were so friendly with us and they suggest some ways and places to feel ourself safer. The house is well decorated and with a beautiful indoor garden! So good!

We highly recomend Lourdes Homestay and we wish we had more days to spend there. The family makes you feel like home and they are really friendly and helpful. The location is really good if you want to stay in old Havana. The breakfast is delicous! Lourdes and her family helped us to get a room in other parts of Havana and in Trinidad and they were also amazing. I think that Lourdes homestay is the best way to get to know Cuba!

Lourdes was extremely helpful - we arrived late and tired from a long journey and her whole family were very welcoming. The rooms are clean and tidy and well equipped and little on the small side. The location is fantastic. Great insight into Cuban life.

Nice and helpful family, clean, safe and right in the Center of Habana Vieja, but a little bit pricy (compared to all the other places where we stayed while travelling in Cuba). Breakfast was another 4 more CUC. For dinner you had to find yourself some place (while all the other casas offered to prepare enormous amounts of excellent dinner for an additional cost of about 8 CUC ). However, they organized a very goog place to stay in Baracoa, where we went next ... which was also done by that place when we left there and so on and so on ... So it's a good place to start your trip though the preparation of hot water in the shower is quite adventurous ;-).

We chose this casa because of its great location and amazing reviews. Couldn't be happier with it! Lourdes and her family are so welcoming and went out of their way to help us out with booking buses, taxis and accomodation in other places. We liked it so much we asked to come back at the end of our holiday! Unfortunately they were full but Lourdes made a reservation at her friends casa which had great views over the city. If you're looking for a place where you feel welcome and safe, right in the heart of Old Havana, choose this one!

Great place to stay. Small en-suite room but very comfortable, clean and secure in a fantastic location. Lourdes and her family were extremely helpful and friendly but not intrusive, they provided a very good breakfast at whatever time we wished. A perfect way to experience Havana

The staff are very friendly and always trying to accommodate your needs. We felt very comfortable with them and enjoyed talking with them about Cuba. The location is perfect for Old Havana, close to all the major sites and within walking distance from almost everything. Just a few blocks from the Capital Building, it was a wonderful street to be on.I was very pleased with the room and the bathrooms facilities, also I was surprised at how quite it is inside the homes at night, lots going on in the streets but the noise does no seep into the homes. I guess all the cement helps.I would definitely visit the Homestay again.
