Mountaintop hostel with a view of downtown San Sebastian and the beaches. There is a large common area with tables, couches, a TV, and a large kitchen. In the backyard is an area with tables, a grill, and a great view. The rooms and bathrooms are of average quality. The location can be reached with a 25 mintue climb up a trail from the beaches/downtown. There is also a shuttle bus that runs from the hostel La Sirena a couple times in the afternoon and evening. Ulia-Mendi is owned by the same people as La Sirena and it's possible to book a bed from La Sirena and then take the shuttle bus up the mountain. The same bus will also take you down the mountain to the center of town. The location is a litle inconvenient but it may be worth it for the view.
