Description
The Down Town Hostel is a new hostel in the heart of Málaga very well allocated, a few steps from the Picasso Museum, Gibralfaro Castle, the Roman Theatre, La Alcazaba and seven minutes walking to the beach. Built in a building completely renovated in 2008.
In the area there are a lot cafés, restaurants, bars, clubs and shops, with excellent nightlife, you won't have to go far to find what you are looking for.
The Hostel offers comfortable, modern, clean dormitory rooms with en-suite bathroom and doubles also. There are lockers with safety locks.
Our friendly and helpful English-speaking staff will give you the clues to enjoy the best of Málaga during your stay and make the most of it!!
The place offers a lot of opportunities to talks and contacts with nice, relaxed, tolerant and laid-back people all sorts of international guests, from all part of the world.
On the top floor is the common area next to huge terrace where you can have a drink along with other guests

My room is not in the main location but it's on the Plaza de la Merced, that it's better!
Anyway, the room is very quiet and silent. The room is little but not a problem.
There is WiFi and a PC free to use.
It's really near the city centre. and there are many many shops, pubs and markets near the hostel. It's a very good location!!

We had our room in other building (only couples). It was quiet in the building, which was nice.The location of our room at Plaza de Merced was supurb. Very lively,

Hostel had two buildings. We stayed in the one on the square. Really nice location with living room we liked. Two pc's as well with internet that we also used to watch movies (recommended). Unfortunately our kitchen was broken, but we could use the one in the other building (only 1 minute walk).
