Hostelz.com Guest Reviews
4  Small and quiet but still good fun -- a great find! Ok, so I was slightly put off by the fact it's on the second floor of an apartment block, having had a bad experience with a similar place in Rome last year, but as soon as I got inside I was pleasantly surprised! This place seems to have been done up very recently (hence the lack of reviews!), so everything is clean, modern, and in working order. Bit of a queue for the one shower, but it's not too much of an issue. Location is excellent, on a quiet side street that runs between the train station and the main square. On the social side of things, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and although the hostel is very small (one 10-bed dorm and a few private rooms), it's easy to meet people, especially as the kitchen, TV and computers (with free internet!) are all in one place. There's no bar in the hostel, but it's easy to go out as it's very central, and the rule that states "No alcohol, drugs, or arms" seems to only be there as a precaution if things get out of hand -- there were plenty of bottles of wine and beer in the fridge! Having said that, the atmosphere was more laid back than party -- which isn't a bad thing at all.  , UK ()
