I think the accommodation and food here was great. The staff are very helpful and friendly and i had no issues with security.

I have to echo the concerns about security at this place. I can't believe what is allowed to take place.

The Pink Hostel has serious concerns re security (as echoed by others on hostel feedback Web sites and talking to travelers in country). I personally had a staff member try to break into my dorm room in the early hours of the morning and I heard four individual accounts of thefts from dorm rooms when only staff had access to them. Feedback from the management is that it was not a concern for them and they would do nothing to discipline the staff member. The police have apparently recently been involved but took no action. (Also, this place is incredibly expensive for dorm rooms). I would advise more than the normal caution.

At least 5 of our students from the USA had clothing and money stolen from their rooms at the Pink Hostel. We found out that another guest had been robbed 2 nights before we arrived. The manager was forced to see us. We had to file a complaint with the local Police Dept. It was an awful way to began a month-long journey into Ghana!

Excellent service, warm and friendly people. My stay (along with 15 students) was for one month. I highly recommend the hostel. The food is great too. I look forward to visiting the Pink Hostel in the near future.

Good food, good services, lovely people. I was there for over a month and I am glad I stayed. I miss you guys soo soo much and can't wait to come back.

Sure to have a good stay at the Pink Hostel...all staff are always warm and friendly...esp Aunty Adwoa!
