Lisbon Chillout Hostel Reviews on Other Websites
5 Very friendly staff, good breakfast, lots of organized tours and making food together, very spirited place.   — Customer review (2011-12-25) Hostelbookers
5 This place is value. Yep. Nevermind the Bride of Frankenstein, she's inclusive like breakfast, which happens to be all-you-can-eat: meats, cheese, toast, cereal, butter, jam, choco-hazelnut spread, coffee, tea, milk and stolen ice cream. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy too. Showers are hot and have good pressure. The place is secure like a Dutch vault. I think guest interaction is pretty good, as there are more than a few common areas. Internet is also swift and there are a couple of machines for guest use. The kitchen is acceptable with enough dish and cookware to go around, and fridge space is plenty - though parking is not. I enjoyed my stay at Chillout, yeah, I really did. It lives up to it's name. I will keep my promise!   — Customer review (2011-12-11) Hostelbookers
2 Nothing!   — Melike Altun (2011-12-11) Hostelbookers
5 Friendly, clean hostel which is excellent value for money. Excellent to have breakfast included as it's just one less thing to worry about, and it's in a really good location within walking distance of most of the main city centre, but close to a metro station for anything slightly further out.   — Customer review (2011-12-04) Hostelbookers
5 every thing! the decoration the atmosfere the room was clean and the breakfast :)   — Gina Edith Trujillo Perez (2011-11-06) Hostelbookers
5 Just awesome. Staff, location, great atmosphere all the mods and cons, internet, skype, brekky!!   — Nicholas Bell (2011-10-29) Hostelbookers
5 Everyone is extremely friendly and I met some great people. This is one of the best experiences I've had, you must stay at this hostel.   — Customer review (2011-10-27) Hostelbookers
4 One of the cheapest hostels with plenty of room. Nice to have a simple breakfast included. The staff were stretched but very nice. Wide selection of DVDs.   — Yingyue Zhao (2011-10-19) Hostelbookers
4 Home-made dinners are offered at cheap price at the hostel...good food and nice company by the staff. Nice outdoor garden and overall decoration   — Customer review (2011-10-17) Hostelbookers
5 Everything. This place was a home away from home for the 4 nights I stayed there. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with everything. The hostel offers a multitude of places to hang out after a long day exploring Lisbon or visiting the beach, and they friendly and chill atmosphere is perfect for meeting other travelers. They have a garden with a lemon tree for shade, a stereo, drinks and a grill that the staff are more than willing to start up, and for 6 euros they will grill you a feast. When I inevitably return to Portugal, I will make sure I have accommodations that the Chill Out Hostel again.   — Jonathan Pizarro (2011-10-16) Hostelbookers
5 Chillout garden with barbecue possibilities   — Customer review (2011-10-12) Hostelbookers
4 It was really comfortable, and the hostel itself is really beautiful... The staff was awesome, people staying there very friendly, great atmosphere to meet people and chill in the garden.   — Customer review (2011-10-12) Hostelbookers
4 Very nice atmosphere and many friendly people (staff and guests) to meet. Felt like home there. Especially the garden is a great place to enjoy some drinks and to chat with other people.   — Jost Wilker (2011-10-05) Hostelbookers
5 the athmospere, the staff, chill out rooms, bathrooms,... everything was perfect   — Anne Medler (2011-10-05) Hostelbookers
5 I can not even stress how great this hostel was. I chose it for the price, but when I got there I realized that much more money couldn't have even found me somewhere nicer. The man running the hostel, Sean, immediately took me in, showed me around, and invited me to their weekend barbecue in the garden. There are 2 hangout decks about the garden area (where people play the guitars provided), a living room with computers, a "chill out" room, and an incredible environment. Nothing about this hostel could have been better!   — Customer review (2011-10-02) Hostelbookers
3 Breakfast was good, the hostel itself very new and nice.   — Customer review (2011-10-01) Hostelbookers
4 The staff here were very friendly, helpful and generally honest happy people. They definitly made my stay at the hostel very relaxed and easy and went out with them most nights. They answered all your questions plus more. Some nights they cooked dinner and always opened up the garden and had a few drinks with you. The rooms were big and clean, although a bit hot and stuffy.   — Customer review (2011-09-30) Hostelbookers
5 Dinners in the garden were great value for money, lots of food and it was good quality when we were there. Good atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff. would definitely recommend this hostel.   — Customer review (2011-09-05) Hostelbookers
