Good location, decent little area out back with a seperate building to hang out in. Its a place to bed down for the night for cheap money, there are some comparable places but its pretty good.

Nice place in a lively neighbourhood; liked the stylish look of the room and bathroom (bare brick, old wooden window blinds etc.), the deep windows and the little balcony that would certainly have been awesome in summer

Relatively close to the metro. There are tons of bars and restaurants nearby to try. Bathroom is well kept for the 12 bunk room (clean, hot water & lots of space). 12 bunk room (two parts 8 & 3) has power outlets in the center with enough for everybody. Beds are clean with fresh sheets and towels provided.

Nice, friendly place. and I liked the price. Its not to expensive. I booked a dorm bed, but on arrival all beds were taken. I got a private room for the same price, that was really nice! The location of this hostel is also a good point.

The place is relatively close to restaurants and Double Pizza outlet, so no trouble on eateries.Despite the lack of physical facilities, the service was excellent. The receptionists willingly assist me during my transition period and including the luggage handling. 2 thumbs up for them! The guests are also nice and very hospitable. If you're a backpacker who likes roam into Montreal's vibrant night life and with small luggage, this is your perfect spot! It's near the MRT too!

The only spread for the bagel was butter, & they couldn't even buy enough so that it wouldn't run out every morning. The kitchen was always yuck, the common room couch stinks. We were asked twice what room we were in by a staff member, & I had to tell them which beds were available in our room. The whole place was shambles we'll never stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay. This hostel was busy! There was a wide range of ages and travelers. The kitchen set up was good and the outdoor patio and courtyard a bonus with the hot weather. The lounge had a big screen TV and two internet computers. Very informative and friendly staff.

I strongly recommend the double room with the jacuzzi. I wasn't sure I was getting that room until we got there. I payed the $100 a night room so whichever that is, get it! I slept the first night on the regular rooms and the beds were not so comfortable but the double sure is. You definitely get more than what you pay for. At a regular hotel, you'd pay much more and would get so much less out of it. If getting the regular rooms.... I still suggest them since you shouldn't be stuck in bed if your single. Its a great place to mingle and meet some new people. Also, great for your pocket... just eat their free delicious bagels for BrkFst and you'll be god until lunch. One thing though... I didn't notice any fans... not even in the double room so in the summer must get really hot in the rooms.

It is a good, clean and quite hostel, close to everything downtown and near bars. Too small for much of a party vibe, which is good or bad depending on how you view it. Definitely would recommend it to anyone.

Liked the location, right in the International Quarter. Close to restaurants and bars.Staff were helpful, I feel they could have a little more local knowledge, I was asking for recommendations for dinner, sightseeing etc, and they seemed to not know an abundant amount, which I feel is important, especially when they are the being relied on by many inexperienced travellers.Security, Coded front door was good, lockers in rooms, big enough for a day pack but not by much. Self locking doors on all rooms would be an improvement, you have to manually lock door every time you leave.Ensuite bathrooms in every room, good and bad. Good for the fact they are really close! Bad because there is only one of them, and when you need to go, and the person with the long hair has just jumped in the shower, you’re in for a long wait! Circumstantial but an issue that arose more than a couple of times.Housekeeping could have done with a dirty laundry bin, somewhere! Towels just kept pilling up!Now to the Kitchen... Compact... Minimalistic.... Cramped for more than 4 people. 1 Stove/oven, 1 Fridge, which was full to the rim! Being so limited on space this cuts back on the seating room, giving room for only 10 to sit. The Staff were friendly and seemed to be doing the best they could with what they had.

Great location, clean/new but crammed rooms, satisfactory service. great location. small rooms with bunk beds crammed into them and only one bathroom per room of ten or twelve. cool lounge and patio area behind hostel with kitchen and TV. free wireless. breakfast includes only bagel and butter, and black coffee no sugar or milk. staff provide a service but do not make the effort to make your stay more enjoyable. some are rude while off duty. — Anonymous , Canada (2009-05-02)
