A hostel in the woods off of a dirt road, within minutes of the center of Madrid. It's located about a 15 minute walk from a metro stop. It feels a lot like a summer camp, with several buildings spread out over an area with dirt paths connecting them. The rooms and bathrooms are of average condition and quality. There are outdoor sitting areas, a bar, a cafeteria, and a camping area.

The hostel was medium in everything. It is located in a forest (Casa de Campo) but it is light in the night. You have to walk a path to reach the Metro but there are no prostitutes by the side! The rooms are secure and clean, the bathrooms, too. The personnel are helpful and so friendly! The only inconvenience was the meals; they were crappy. The hostel is cheap and recommended!

There is nothing wrong with the hostel, but the location is bad! The park, la Casa de Campo, is huge and a popular place for prostitutes. It is no understatement to say that the road you must walk to the hostel from the metro is lined solid with prostitutes. They are not a worry, but the element that they bring to the park is very unsavory. It is quite a worrisome walk back to the hostel in the dark and the prostitutes appear before it is completely dark. Taxis are even reluctant to drive passengers through the park to the hostel as the prostitutes can apparently be very forceful with males driving through the park. This hostel is best for groups which will be bussed in and out of the hostel.
