Description
With a 150 year history, this hostel offers an OLD BEIJING COURTYARD EXPERIENCE. The atmosphere is quiet, simple and charming. Unlike many hostels, Jing Yi Shi is secluded from the noise of the street. It is the ideal place to come home to at the end of a long day out on Beijing's streets. All rooms face onto a main courtyard which is covered with a transparent awning so that guests can relax in the courtyard no matter the weather.
Most rooms are double or twin rooms, but rooms with bunk-style beds are also available. Each room has a SHOWER and SIT DOWN TOILET as well as TV, INTERNET CABLE JACK and A/C.
Other advantages are free INTERNET, WASHER, LIBRARY of books, SOFT DRINKS and FREE LOCAL CALLS.
The location of the hostel is also quite ideal. Just 15 minutes from Qian Men and Tian An Men, the hostel is located in an area convenient to travellers. Just 5 minutes walk from the hostel is the newly restored historic area, and 5 minutes walk in the other directions is Liu Li Chang, another historic shopping area. The hostel is surrounded by neighborhoods of Beijing's historic "hutong". Shopping and dining experiences are abundant.
