Small hostel located in the center of Madrid and within half a block of a metro stop. It's on the 4th floor (5th in American-speak), but there is an elevator ("lift" in Brittish-speak). There is a common area with TV, bar, and kitchen. Male and female dorms are segregated to separate wings of the floor. The bathroom facilities are good and the staff is friendly. Extra €5 "day fee" if you want to stick around after your checkout time.

CHECK IN or CHECK OUT TIME: Rooms will be ready for guests at 13:00. You can drop your baggage before that time in our left-luggage and check in later. Check out time is before 11:00 am. Check-outs after 11:00 am may have to pay a fee. If you have to leave the hostel earlier than 8:00 am we would appreciate if you check out the afternoon before and leave the keys at front desk when you leave.
LATE ARRIVALS: if you plan to arrive later than 22:00 we would really appreciate a confirmation call/e-mail on the same day reconfirming it.
Continental Breakfast, use of equipped kitchen, free Walking Tour and Free Wi-Fi are included in price; airport transfers and pub crawls organised on request.

The hostel has a A-location which is very close to Metro, restaurants, shops and many sightseeing sites. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful in giving an interesting overview about the city and which place should visit. The facilities are new and spacious, the breakfast is well served. I will stay here again if i am back.

Te rooms were nice and spacious. Ours had only single beds, which was a nice break from squeaky bunk beds. Good kitchen. Breakfast was basic but free. Wifi worked well throughout the hostel.

The hostel let us drop off our bags prior to our check in time, which was very convenient. It is also located right near the Opera metro station & the Puerta del Sol metro station, which makes it ideal for easy transportation to key sights in central Madrid. The staff were also very knowledgeable and helpful.

Not all its cracked up to be I stayed in this hostel two nights and wasn't really impressed; there was a better hostel across town for the same price! The one great point is the location; perfect! However, it wasnt that clean, especially the kitchen! The toilet was leaking when i was there, and there were no locks on the lockers, and the holes for your own padlock were so small i couldnt get my padlock onto it. The other people in the hostel were friendly enough; there was a sangria party one night we were there, and the common room is good for meeting people. The breakfast is so disgusting! I had some warm milk in my cornflakes, so moved onto the bread which was so hard i couldnt eat it! The coffee was awful too!! The main annoyance, however, was this one member of staff on reception, i dont remember his name, but he was so rude it was unbelievable. The only redeeming quality is the awesome location. The rooms are cramped, dingy, and smelly, and there's absolutely no security. You could probably even find your way in and sleep in a bed for free. The "breakfast" consists of stale bread, mystery jam, powdered coffee, all serve-yourself and then wash your own dishes. The bathrooms are all unisex and dirty. This place sucks. I found some interesting people to party with! I highly recommend you take a trip with a gang of people (including a funny Irishman and a South American who can play guitar) and a few bottles of wine to the palace late at night! And watch your pissed mate fall in a fountain! Sorry, I got off the point there. Bad Points: breakfast which consists soley of bread and water, some theft at the hostel, rooms 5 and 6 are located right next to the office so they are extremely noisy, and terrible shower pressure, along with early morning lines for the bathroom.
