Description
You can relax when you visit our B & B which is set among the vines. The property backs on to the Severn River, so the opportunity is there to sit by the river, watch the birdlife and enjoy the nature that surrounds. This Three bedroom house provides sleeping for six. One bathroom, kitchen and laundry facilities.
This home has a working vineyard and olive grove with all the atmosphere that can be found in the beautiful Stanthorpe country. Stanthorpe is a remarkably attractive town set in the middle of a rich, mixed farming area where rural activities range from vineyards, wineries and orchards to sheep and cattle grazing. Stanthorpe is unusually cool for Queensland. In winter the night time temperatures in the town often fall below zero - the average minimum temperature for July is 0.3°C. In fact the town once recorded -14.6°C - the coldest temperature ever recorded in the Sunshine state.

| Location | Located on the New England Highway 223 km from Brisbane via Warwick, 56 km north of Tenterfield and 811 m above sea level. Local Airports are based at Stanthorpe, Tenterfield and Warwick. We are a 3 hour drive from Brisbane City Airport and 3 hours from the Gold Coast. The best way to arrive is from Brisbane. From Brisbane by train please take a train to Roma Street transit which costs 12 dollars and takes 20 minutes. You will then need to take a 3 hour train journey to Stanthorpe which costs 45 AUS dollars. From Brisbane Transit Centre it is a bus from there for $45.00 with Crisps Coaches |
