5   A really special place I had two really nice nights at this amazing place, where you are treated immediately like a part of the family or an old friend. A lot of the residents are taking part in some really worthwhile volunteer programs at local schools and so are there long-term and it helps to build up a nice community feel. The value for money is amazing -- a great dinner and breakfast is included in the price. All the facilities are top notch for a hostel and the place is very safe. I recommend the Ujamaa hostel for anyone traveling into Arusha, whether on a budget or not. A wonderful place.  , English ()
5   Fantastic! The staff were amazing. The hostel was clean. The food was incredible (breakfast and dinner included). And they can link you with volunteer work, which made for an incredible opportunity to meet the locals and work with the community. And Free Laundry -- Major Bonus!  , USA ()
