You are invited! Whether you are a first time visitor or one of our many guests who have been enjoying Doe Bay for 25 years, the new owners welcome you. Doe Bay Resort & Retreat is a unique alternative to your traditional destination resort. Situated on over thirty acres of magnificent waterfront property, Doe Bay offers a variety of accommodations in a rustic, down-to-earth environment.
Start the day with Yoga practice in our Studio followed by a trip to the soaking tubs and sauna. Then treat yourself to a massage and a delicious vegetarian meal in our historic waterfront café. Or, you can spend the morning on a guided kayaking tour departing from our Boathouse and then while away the afternoon on one of our private beaches.
Whether you come for a personal retreat, a family gathering, or to take part in one of our events, we feel certain that you will be touched by the magic and beauty that is Doe Bay.

I visited Doe Bay this past weekend. (Apr. 05) After many years of neglect the place has new ownership, which provides a refreshing presence. It's been two years of cleanup, construction and a return to the values we enjoy. I'll return shortly. It takes hard work and time, just be patient. — Charlie (2005-04-14) This place is beautiful and mellow. There is no TV, no phones, but there is meditation and yoga. The prices here are the cheapest in the San Juans, home of the priciest real estate in Washington. The new owners are making the hostel better without losing the charm.
