The hostel was clean anf comfortable, however there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom due to the badly blocked drains.

Buzz is a perfect place for any traveller. Apart from being on hand 24hrs a day we offer you information and guidance on what to see and explore in our yet to be discovered part of Europe. We are also on hand to give you tips and hints of the latest events in Zagreb.

Hostel is 20 minutes walking from the main square, we are in between two main tram lines and 2 bus lines , so you can get anywhere in Zagreb really quickly!

We are couple minutes away from one of biggest squares in Zagreb, which was fully renovated last year and its a good place to try some of local dishes. Also, you can find boutiques, food stores, McDonalds, banks, ATMs, exchange offices and other businesses at that square, as well as really amazing kebabs!

Just 10 minute walk away there's Croatia's national football stadium, next to it is the Zagreb Zoo and biggest park in Zagreb, park Maksimir.

Bars, taverns, restaurants are around the corner, that might come in handy... :)

And since we are located at Kvaternik square, we are inside the free tram zone! Whether going or coming from bus station, main square or any other central location, tram to us is free!

Location	From the Main Railway Station (Glavni kolodvor) There are three options you can take to get here: Option 1. Take tram number 9 - direction Borongaj - going east (you'll be facing north when you exit the train station and east will be on your right) and get off at the 6th stop - Heinzelova street. Walking distance from the station to the hostel is just few minutes. Follow the direction of the tram you just got off. Babukiceva street is third street on your left from Heinzlova. Once in Babukiceva walk straight up and about 150 meters later on your right hand side you will see 1b Babukiceva and Buzz Backpackers sign. You have made it. Then, just buzz. Option 2. You can also take a tram number 4 which will be going east as well (you'll be facing north when you exit the train station and east will be on your right). Get off at the 6th stop - Kvaternikov trg (square) - you will be facing south while exiting the tram and on your left should be small shopping centre NAMA. Head south for Heinzlova Street and keep on the east side of the street. Make a left turn at the 2nd street (Rakovceva) then once here go straight towards east for 200 meters and once you get to the third street (Babukiceva) you will see a church on your right hand side. We are located just around the corner from the church. You will see our Buzz Backpackers sign across the street - 1b Babukiceva. Option 3. Take a taxi form the train station to the hostel. It should cost between 50-70 kn. From the Bus Station (Autobusni Kolodvor) The easiest way is to take a tram numbers 5 or 7 and get off at the 4th stop ( Kvaternikov trg- square) - you will be facing south while exiting the tram and on your left should be small shopping centre NAMA. Walk on foot straight down heading south - Heinzlova street. Keep on east side of street when you will come to a small shopping centre called Nama on this side of road. Make a left turn at the 2nd street (Rakovceva) then head east for 200 meters where you will reach a 3rd street called Babukiceva and on your right you will see a church. We are just around the corner from the church across the street - 1b Babukiceva. Or you can take a taxi form the buss station to the hostel. It should cost between 50-70 kn. From the Zagreb Airport Pleso There are frequent Airport Bus departures which will cost you 30 kn. It will take you to the Bus Station. Then you should take a tram number 5 or 7 from the buss station and get off at the 4th stop (Kvaternikov trg- square) - you will be facing south while exiting the tram and on your left should be small shopping centre NAMA. Walk on foot straight down heading south - Heinzlova street. Keep on east side of street. Make a left turn at the 2nd street (Rakovceva) then head east for 200 meters where you will reach a 3rd street called Babukiceva and on your right you will see a church. We are just around the corner from the church across the street - 1b Babukiceva. Or you can take a taxi form the airport to the hostel. It should cost around 130 kn. PRICES OF TRAM TICKETS ARE AS FOLLOWS - 8kn from kiosk - 10kn or more if you decide to buy from tram driver
