Residencial Tres Soles Reviews on Other Websites
5 Right across the street from the national and international bus terminals; Adolpho was incredibly helpful and made wonderful meals for a weary traveler! Also a 15 minute stroll to one of Arica's beautiful beaches.   — Customer review (2011-12-21) Hostelbookers
4 The owner was very helpful and very nice. The location to the bus terminal is helpful, however that does put you far from downtown. The taxis are easy to use though.   — Customer review (2011-09-28) Hostelbookers
4 Convenient location, near the busstation. The father and daughter who run the hostel are very friendly and will do their utmost to help you with your travelling. They were of great assistance with my travel to Peru.   — Marieke Appelboom (2011-05-04) Hostelbookers
5 There really shouldn't be any negative comments about this place - the owner is so helpful and cannot do enough for you. He speaks v good english and gives good, honest advice about transport to Peru and trips/excursions. Nothing is an issue - he is happy to make you a bite to eat at any time of the day or night. It really is a 5 star service here and the rooms are very clean. Yes, there are rules about checking out on time and only having 2 showers a day, but it's ridiculous if anyone complains about that - who takes more than 2 showers a day? You have to respect the fact that there's a water shortage in this area. A great place to stay with excellent staff.   — Aoife O'Grady (2011-03-20) Hostelbookers
3 if you are looking to simply stay in Arica for one night and to have an easy trip to and from the bus station, which is literally across the road his is the place for you. It's location is so close to the two bus stations. And the staff are really helpful, full of tips and friendly advice about how to get on in your traveling   — James Goulden (2011-02-28) Hostelbookers
5 The owner is really helpful and can speak English. The hostel is opposite the national and international bus station, so great for crossing the border. It is only a 15 minute walk into town as well. The family are all really nice. There is a basic kitchen with a fridge.   — James Mannerson (2011-02-24) Hostelbookers
3 The hostel ist close to the bus station. The rooms are clean.   — Customer review (2011-02-01) Hostelbookers
4 If you want to be close to the bus station, this property is very close. It is also only about 20mins to the centre and 10mins from the beach. The owner and his daughters speak good English and are very helpful. They have good information for those travelling onto Peru or Bolivia. The rooms are small but our room had a balcony and a view of the Morro. The showers were warm but in the heat that's not too bad,   — Customer review (2011-01-10) Hostelbookers
3 I booked this just before taking an all night bus to Arica. I wish I would have seen their email that they sent shortly after I booked because it had excellent advise and directions to their location, walking distance. The taxi drivers have a fixed price and I end up paying over $5 for less than a 1/2 km. I was really irritated but Tres Soles made it clear in their email that I did not have to take the taxi and they would have picked me up too. It is a father - daughter team (when I was there) and they both speak English really well and more than happy to help me with my interests and needs which included getting the best price for those interests.   — shaz DAVISON (2010-12-31) Hostelbookers
4 Good breakfast (had to pay for separately), close to bus station for late arrival in from Peru and very friendly staff.   — Customer review (2010-12-05) Hostelbookers
5 The owner and his family were great. Always ready to help. Had à great stay.   — Wouter Van der Vaart (2010-10-27) Hostelbookers
3 Only Internet Wi-Fi   — Customer review (2010-09-08) Hostelbookers
3 Close to the busstation.   — Customer review (2010-08-16) Hostelbookers
5 Friendliness and helpfulness of the owner.   — Customer review (2010-08-02) Hostelbookers
4 The staff were very friendly. We arrived early in the morning - before check in time - and the owner had a room where we could stay until the room we booked was ready. This was much appreciated after a long over night bus from San Pedro. The staff also provided us with excellent advice about crossing the border into Peru. WiFi worked good. The showers were also always hot, a rare treat when backpacking around South America.   — Ian Harris (2010-07-24) Hostelbookers
5 Family-run hostel where owners are extremely helpful and honest, room was very comfortable and clean and had gas shower so watter always hot. Frequent cheap buses to town. Security gate, no curfew and food cooked 24/7. Excellent value for money, would highly recommend.   — Isabel Holdsworth (2010-07-03) Hostelbookers
4 This hostel is very close to the bus station, but about 20 min. walk to downtown. The owner is very friendly and nice. The one thing we didn´t like was that there was no kitchen access and the hostel charges for everything (towel, internet, breakfast all are over-priced). I would stay here again if I was only going to catch a bus the next day but if I wanted to explore downtown I wouldn´t. Overall, it is clean and the owner is welcoming.   — Customer review (2010-05-03) Hostelbookers
4 very friendly and helpful   — Philipp Niermann (2010-04-30) Hostelbookers
5 Location, value for money and even facilities always come into a rating I suppose, and quite rightly too. But the added candle on the cake was the reception by the owner, his daughter and his staff. When you are a million metaphorical miles from home and need a little direction to light up the path ahead, well Adolpho (I apologise if the spelling is wrong) gives you a great big torch that says I not only am confident that I now know where I am going nextm but I am absolutely delighted that I came here.Hail hailMatt   — Matthew Stewart (2010-03-10) Hostelbookers
4 English speaking and very helpful owners   — Dion Ng (2010-03-07) Hostelbookers
