Description
Biker's Home - 44 rooms - is a cheap Backpacker Hostel for Biker's and everybody.

Our concept is very simple:
- it is a friendly, easy going, family orientated hostel, giving the customer total freedom during their visit.
- it supplies the customer with homely facilities such as a food preparation area, both cooking and storage, also washing facilities such as washing machines and clothes dryers, along with the basic bathroom facilities as is expected with most hostels.
- The hostels rooms are exceptionally cheap, giving the customer a simple setup of a basic bedroom but also the hostel takes pride in its cleanliness and security of rooms.
- the rooms range from a single private room to a Dorm 2-bed and also a Dorm 6-bed bedroom, depending on the customers requirements.
The rooms are fully prepared with bed clothes and pillows.
- The facilities of the hostel include wireless internet at 5 francs per day; the food preparation equipment for cooking at 1 franc per person, parking facilities for bikes as well as cars for a cheap price, there is a lounge area with a television for entertainment, there is also a barbeque area for use on sunny days which is free. It has check-in time from 1 pm to 10 pm but if the customer is going to arrive later than 10pm they must give some notice as to their arrival either as an email or a phone call in order to secure their room. On Saturdays and Sundays we have not check-in only check-out.
- The hostel has easy access to the centre of Zurich as there is a tram line and a metro train station within 10 minutes walking distance of the hostel.
From the hostels nearest station it takes approximately 10 minutes to get to the city by tram and 4 minutes by the metro train.

| Location | •Nearest tram stop: • 'Bändliweg', on line 4. • - Once off the tram at 'Bändliweg' head towards the traffic lights and pass through the motorway underpass, continue straight and turn right onto Juchstrasse, follow the Juchstrasse to the end and then it comes to private ground then go between the first two barracks, then turn right at the end of the barracks and follow it around and make a left at the very last barrack and you should see the entrance to the main barrack there (It is number 25b). • Nearest metro train stop is Altstetten, this is found on the S-Bahn subway system. • - From Altstetten station, take the underpass on the other side and come out onto 'Vulkanstrasse', here you turn left and walk for aprroximately 150 metres, then turn right onto 'Bändliweg' and walk for about 30 metres until you come to 'Juchstrasse' on the left hand side; follow the Juchstrasse to the end and then it comes to private ground then go between the first two barracks, then turn right at the end of the barracks and follow it around and make a left at the very last barrack and you should see the entrance to the main barrack there (It is number 25b). • There is a Swiss global search system similar to Google named http://map.search.ch/, you will need to write in the street name on the left and the postcode on the right hand side, this will allow you to zoom in on the surrounding area and to find the train and tram station. |
