Horrible
If you want bedbugs; dirty carpets, beds, and bathrooms; a staff who does not care about your happiness; a maid who does not clean at all; and no air conditioning, then stay here. But if you want a clean, nice hotel, pay an extra $50 and stay somewhere else. Don't say you haven't been warned. I think crackhouses are nicer than this place.

Where do I start? I arrived there and person at desk was chatting on phone and stayed there for twenty minutes before speaking to me. I paid the room for the week. I walked up the stairs and the hand railing was hanging, there were holes in the walls and I thought to myself, what am I getting myself into? There was a room beside mine with the door busted and hanging off its hinges. I get into my room and there was a bloody handprint on the wall above the bed. and as for the bed, totally disgusting. blood stained sheets and hair all over the pillows. I was so pissed. I quickly went downstairs and demanded new bedding. so the guy hands me one sheet. what a flippin joke. all night people were yelling from a room next to mine. they hadn't paid for their room. and they were using it for prostitution. the police ended up being called. I was afraid to leave my things in the room for the fear of having them stolen so I left on the second day of a seven-night stay. they would not refund my money. this place is a joke. only thing good about it was its price. I would recommend this place for pimps and ho's only.

Though we had made a booking (through hostelz.com), including making a deposit, the manger knew nothing about it. He was unable to log in to check bookings and wouldn't honour our deposit. He recommended getting our deposit back. After bringing this up with hostelz.com, who have been very helpful, the manger has done a one-eighty and now says he did honour our deposit. Luckily for us there was a room free for two of the four nights we planned to stay. Apart from this we were woken at 3 a.m. one night with someone trying to check someone into our room. Their excuse through the door? "Sorry I forgot this room was occupied."

I stayed last week and found a BIG tick in the bed. Pillowcases were not washed for long time and smell strong with hair on it. There is no refund policy. Their website looks very nice but I strongly do not recommend this one. I will try to contact city of Toronto to inspect this accommodation provider since I do not agree with their way of doing business.

The hostel is combined with a hotel, which is new. Although the facilities are minimal, the location and the price were great. I would recommend it.

This hostel is in a good location, and it seems to be safe, but it did not provide many of the amenities that were claimed on Web site. The linen provided at the desk was one flat sheet only, and the room was minimally acceptable for cleanliness.

We had booked this hostel online and on arrival found it to be simply disgraceful. Firstly, we had problems with the check in process, as they are unorganized and unhelpful. The hostel was also very dirty. When we reached our room (which is in a separate building) we were informed by a guest not to stay here as the beds had bedbugs in them. After looking at the state of her arms and the state of the room I can't say I was surprised. We obviously didn't stay. We were not refunded our deposit (which they didn't even acknowledge we paid) and we would definitely NOT recommend anyone stay here. If I knew the process I would have reported it to the authorities.

I was at this hostel last week and it's been renovated. Although there are no common rooms, etc., the facilities are clean and the location is very good.
