Excellent value for money and if you need a place to stay near canary wharf, Excel or London Airport I couldn't recommend it more. Staff and tennants freindly, helpful and welcoming and I took good memories of the people and times I spent there.

It was cheap and you were afforded a lot of freedom to come and go as you pleased.

The showers were good, the WiFi worked well, the rooms were well lit an not too cramped. The converted downnstairs pub area had a nice feel and lots of free stuff like pool, darts, fooz ball table and a poker table. The building is old, but everything else is good.

There was a decent selection for breakfast, the staff was really nice, and there was a large DVD collection from which to borrow.

much nicer than i had expected for the 9pounds a night, a little out of the way but it is not hard at all to get to the center of london from woolwich arsenal, overall a good time and great value for the money

Very friendly and helpful staff - upgraded me to a smaller dorm because it wasn't a very busy night. However, the walk to the hostel was a little longer than expected which is awkward with a big suitcase and required complicated train swapping from heathrow but a good way to get acquainted with the tube system. Secure location and relatively quiet at night. Rather cramped rooms. Overall a pleasant stay.

Not enough showers. Doors not even locked, but there is no one around to steal anything anyway. Apart from that, it's clean and nice;

There wa a problem with the door bell, and I got a refund because I had to wait for reception. It felt really professional concidering it is just a hostel. Very far out but it was an alright stay!

Almost everything was pretty satysfying but sharing room with people who work there for bed was terrible. They were very unkind. Plus for a telly and dvd movies. Beds were nice. Good prices and direct bus to the city centre.

The staff was perfect, eventhough it says that you could not enter the building after 1am , I went there at 2am and the Man opened the door for me, welcomed, gave me clean Sheets, for which I was glad.And says I could stay up to 3or 4 oclock sleeping in the other day. The building is not very clean, and the kitchen nees a bit cleaning as well. But it is worthy for what you pay, and at the end of all it is a Hostel. Good staff and good services.

Not in the best part of London, far from the city center. 5 minute walk to the under ground then a 20-30min trip. Room 1 gets a lot of road noise, no complaints otherwise.
