Hostel Suisse is known to international travelers and is a haven for those seeking economical accommodation. We are a non-smoking, low budget, no frills accommodation.
Services and facilities provided include free W-Lan, a vending machine with soft drinks in the lounge and car parking.
We have no curfew and no crowded dorms- there are just 2 beds in each room which are double or bunk.
We also have an internet Terminal in the lounge with 24 hour internet access and self-catering facilities.

| Location | From the main railway station 'Zurich Hauptbahnhof': Take bus number 31 (direction Schlieren) and get off at the stop 'Luggweg-Strasse'. The bus ride takes approximately 15 minutes. When you get off the bus go straight for 200 meters and make a left turn crossing the street. Walk to the next big intersection with traffic lights. At the corner turn left into Baslerstrasse and walk another 200 meters to Hostel Suisse. To walk from the bus stop to our location you need a maximum of 5 minutes! From the airport: Take a train to the railway station 'Zurich-Altstetten'. In front is Hohlstrasse. Cross the street and walk straight (approx. 300 meters). At the next corner turn left on to Baslerstrasse. Walk straight (approx. 700 meters) cross at big intersection with traffic lights and 200 meters further on the left-hand side you will find Hostel Suisse. |

Very friendly welcome and helpful staff - gives you a map and shows all interesting attractions in Zurich. Basic rooms, do have a sink, but a little expensive. Pillows too soft to be comfortable. Very noisy on week mornings. Directions to reach hotel from bus stop unclear.

I didnt spend too much time at the hostel but when I came in it was clean and quiet and best of all when I lost my key and realized it at 4 am, the guy who answered the number they told me to call, for emergencys, gave me no hasels, let me in didnt worry about it and neither did the staff the next morning. They helped me with my credit card problem too. Very helpful, I would stay there agian in an instant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your hostel. If my son does go to school at Franklin and I do get to come back to Lugano, we would definitely stay with you again. The staff were the greatest. They spoke English. They were very helpful with their tips and information. They were very polite and helpful. Great stay.
