The only reason that this got a four instead of a five is because there's absolutely nothing going on here at night. It is however one of the nicest hostels I've ever stayed in. We got two single beds in a massive room with our own massive, and extraordinarily clean bathroom for a low price with breakfast included.

I am actually writing this from the hostel computer. For only €1/hour, this is the best deal I've seen yet. I'm sharing a room with one friend. We didn't have an HI card, but you can buy it one night at a time. The rooms are very clean and spacious, very comfortable. I was blown away by how great of a deal it was. The only downside is the food (it sucks, don't pay for a meal) but that just gives one an excuse to explore the city looking for food. It's easy to find. If you ever get lost, just ask for the castle. And come on, you get to sleep in a castle!!!

I stayed here for one night only, but it was on a bright and sunny day in November. It cost only 10,30 euros with breakfast included. This hostel is a very nice place!

I stayed here for just one night. They are booked from Easter through September, but Sunday nights they often have availability if you call first. This place was very clean with only 2 people per room and private large bathrooms. The view from this castle is amazing, but the hike up the hill from the train station is quite a workout. If you aren't prepared for some uphill hiking, then Toledo isn't the place for you. Unfortunately the place was pretty deserted the night I was there, maybe because it is so big there isn't a cozy place to meet people. It only cost 10,50 euro per night, and an extra 3 for breakfast.
