The breakfast was excellent. There was only one shower for about 30 people. I had a heck of a time finding the place; no one had heard of it. The street is rather short so no one knew the street, either. The sun comes up at 3:30 a.m. in summertime and it never gets dark, but yet curtains on the windows? They didn't exist. This place is in the most central location to downtown. Great price. Sleep on the west side of the building or you will be putting on suntan lotion at 4:00 a.m.

Not the best place I've ever stayed in. Still, it's okay for a last resort (i.e., if all the other hostels are too far, or booked up). But there was a sickly curry smell that hung around the corridors, and the cleaners can't clean to save their lives. Beware of the manager, though - he's pretty rude, and tries to get out of giving you a discount for using your Hostel card.

Good location. The dorms are a bit too big and not cosy at all. There's only one shower for the entire hostel. It is expensive, but hey, it's Helsinki. Indeed, not much fun. Travellers are of all ages--it isn't really a young backpackers' hostel (if you prefer that).

It is really close to everything. It is clean but not that much fun. It is still a great and relaxing place to stay.
