Tiger Hostel is located in the vibrant centre of the city - hundred steps from Main Train Station and International Bus Station(GPS: N 56.56'53.2' E 024.07'05.8') .
From the airport you can use BUS 22 which comes to the STOCKMAN,or you can use taxi and drive to Raina bulvaris 31.
The hostel is located in one of the most beautiful streets of the city centre-Raina boulevard. Close to the shore of the city chanel. In the same building with the hostel are cheap cafes and a pizzeria.
From here it is only few meters to the shops, cafes, banks, theatres and offices, while crossing the street, you'll be able to enter the Old Town famous with its unique historical and cultural heritage.
Near the hostel we have city car and bus parking.
Great communication links. It's very easy to get any place in the city using the public transport.

Tiger Hostel is a great place, close to the station and buses. It is clean, good WiFi connection, spacious rooms. It has a real kitchen, not just a shelf with a micro wave on it. The staff are easy going, helpful and they are there.

for the most part I enjoyed my stay. the location, staff and building conditions were all very good but, the last 3 days were quite noisy and needed to have my room changed but, I guess that is to be expected at times. the staff was fantastic to me and i would consider a return except that maybe a hostel is designed more for the younger groups. I stayed 6 days. the 1st 3 were quiet and comfortable. the last 3 were not that good due to constant noise from other tenants. inability to sleep was the biggest problem due to noise. it is a difficult situation at times.

Nice, quiet place in the middle of Riga, near bus and railway station. Not very busy, but you can still meet fellow travelers. Good choice to explore the city from here.

Perfect location. Hostel is near the train station and old center of the city. Clean. Safe. Staff is very friendly, speaks russian, english, latvian.

Free internet/pc in the bedroom! Also very clean, private owner with few rooms in an apartment unit, thus feels as if staying at a guest room. Lots of power points in the rooms, free tea/coffee to use in the kitchen and basically feel very ease.

The location of hostel is great, nice clean rooms, cosy reception, friendly staff. Big plus is a computer with internet acess in each room. I would like to add that stuff was extra helpful, I woudn't wish any more. My stay in this hostel was a great experience. I wish they offer a free breakfast though (or for minimal payment), the kitchen has a hot water tank/fres cold water, fridge and a microwave but no cooker.
