The accommodation is split over two floors and none of the rooms are en-suite, but ample shower and washroom facilities are available.

Location
• Bus: take a bus to Shiel Bridge from Inverness, Glasgow, Edinburgh or Skye. From the bus stop it’s about 2 miles walk to the youth hostel
• Train: take the train to Kyle, then bus, then 2 miles walk
• Car: from Inverness or Fort William take the road to the Isle of Skye. Turn off A87 at Shiel Bridge (signposted Ratagan). After 0.75 mile turn right down to the youth hostel
• Foot: from Shiel Bridge, walk 2 miles, following the signs for Ratagan. Walk through the village on the lochside to the youth hostel
